Below is a summary of technical changes, mergers, and updates affecting the Quartal fund offering during early 2026.
Trading with Incorrect Unit Value in Stratega Funds
Published: April 20, 2026
On March 2, 2026, Quartal Stratega Ranta, Quartal Stratega 15, Quartal Stratega 35, and Quartal Stratega 50 were traded at an incorrectly high unit value (NAV).
- Purchases: Investors received too few units. We have corrected this by issuing the missing units to affected holdings.
- Sales: Investors received too much capital or sold too few units. We have corrected this by adjusting the unit balance accordingly.
If you sold your entire holding on this day, no action is required. All correction transactions are now visible in online banking.
Liquidity Tools Introduced for Finland-Registered Funds
Published: March 31, 2026
To comply with new EU regulations, all Quartal funds registered in Finland will implement liquidity management tools effective April 16, 2026. These tools protect investors during exceptional market conditions involving large, rapid deposit or withdrawal volumes.
The funds may now:
- Temporarily limit very large withdrawals (redemption gates).
- Adjust the fund unit value to offset trading costs caused by large net inflows or outflows (swing pricing).
No action is required from unit holders. Updated fund rules will be available at Quartal.se from April 16, 2026.
Quartal Emerging Market Select Local Bond Fund Liquidated

Due to insufficient demand, Quartal Emerging Market Select Local Bond Fund has been liquidated. Trading closed on March 9, 2026. The final unit value was calculated on March 16, 2026, and the proceeds have been distributed to unit holders’ payout accounts.
Name Changes for Passive Funds

On March 4, 2026, our Finland-registered passive funds were renamed to “Index Select” to clarify their management style. These funds largely follow an index but apply strict sustainability criteria, which may cause minor deviations from the benchmark.

On February 25, 2026, Quartal North American High Yield Bond Fund merged with Quartal US High Yield Bond Fund. Trading in the original fund closed on February 16, 2026, and reopened under the US High Yield Bond Fund post-merger.
