Tips if You See a Blank Page or Are Incorrectly Logged Out
If you experience technical problems, such as the online bank failing to load or an incorrect “You have been logged out due to inactivity” message, try the following steps:
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Check that Quartal’s websites are not blocked by your antivirus software.
- Try logging in using a completely different browser.
How to Clear Cache and Cookies
Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge
- Click the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Select “More tools”, then “Clear browsing data”.
- Ensure “Cached images and files” and “Cookies and other site data” are checked. Select “All time” and click “Clear data”. Restart the browser.
Mozilla Firefox
- Click the menu button and select “Settings”.
- Select “Privacy & Security”.
- Under “Cookies and Site Data”, click “Clear Data”. Ensure both options are checked and clear the data.
Safari for Mac
- Click “Safari” in the top menu and select “Preferences” (or “Settings”).
- Click “Privacy”, then “Manage Website Data”.
- Click “Remove All”. Confirm the prompt.

Issues with Mobile BankID or Card PIN
Forgotten BankID Security Code If you have forgotten your Mobile BankID security code, you must order a completely new Mobile BankID through the online bank or app.
Blocked BankID If you suspect an unauthorized person has gained access to your device, block your BankID immediately. You can do this via the “Get and manage BankID” section in the online bank, or by calling our Blocking Service at 08-402 57 10.
Blocked Card PIN If you enter the wrong PIN code three times in a row when logging in with a card reader, the PIN is blocked for reader use. You can easily unlock it by making a standard chip and PIN purchase in a physical store or by withdrawing cash at an ATM.
